We will be showing a documentary. Roberta Story is about one women's mission to become who she truly was meant to be. Assigned Male at birth, Roberta fought a long road hiding her true self for 40 years. At the age of 40, Roberta finally took the step out of the closet and showed the world the woman she always was.
For those of you who knew Roberta, and those who didn't, she was a quiet, caring and compassionate woman, who lived her life to the fullest. The untimely death of Roberta, who was a powerful speaker, left a gap in all of those who knew her.
Now for the first time, thanks to Jessica Pemberton and her assistant, we are able to see and hear Roberta's story from her own words. The struggles she faced, to the advice she leaves at the end.
Please come out and hear this powerful story. Michael Sherman will be on hand that evening to help answer questions. Michael and Roberta were long time friends and if anyone is able to answer your questions about such a women, it will be him.
Hope you all are able to come and hear this very heartfelt story!
See you there!
